Art Factory
The Art Factory in Lodz is a cultural institution which was founded on January 1, 2007. The educational facility's activities serve as an attempt to promote different fields of cultural creativity – from music and dance to theater and film, also including the latest visual works. It's situated in a factory from the 19th century in the industrial neighborhood Priest's Mill (Ksiezy Mlyn). After a thorough revitalization, the historic red brick was combined with modern glass and steel elements. The architects were successful in maintaining the exceptional industrial character. While devising the lighting for this special space, we had to fit into this theme. The facility was supplied with industrial COSMO luminaires and stylized RETRO pendant fixtures.
