Krakow, Poland
Teatr im. Juliusza Słowackiego
The eclectic edifice of the Juliusz Słowacki Theater was built in the years 1891-1893 and is one of the most beautiful architectural hallmarks of Krakow and a must-see point on the cultural map of the city. It has been gathering art lovers and the greatest artists of the Polish theater scene in its dazzling interiors for over a century. Interestingly, the theater building was the first in nineteenth-century Krakow to be equipped with electric lighting. Its present-day outdoor lighting is the work of true virtuosos in the field of illumination. The impressive façade details were highlighted using our URAN and LEDPIPE systems, which were designed with similar challenges in mind.
