Aarhus is a picturesque and very important port city in Denmark. Construction of a modern residential area called Isbjerget began there in 2010. We were responsible for the street lighting in this investment. At the time, it was a revolutionary project entirely consisting of solutions with LED technology and equipped with an advanced control system. It makes it possible to switch the light on and off and control its intensity in luminaires which are divided in 4 sections. Because of this, the lighting can be adjusted to the prevailing weather conditions and the traffic on the road, and each section can be switched on independently. This easily translated to significant savings of both energy and operating costs.
