Made in Poland
We manufacture all our products in our own two factories located in Poland. We also have a testing laboratory that is accredited by the Quality Research Office of the Association of Polish Electricians, and that is where we subject our luminaires to detailed quality testing.
Automated production lines and rigorous testing procedures ensure the highest quality of our products and the reduction of production costs.

ES-SYSTEM’s beginnings
ES-SYSTEM was established in 1990 in Kraków, Poland. The idea behind its creation was to provide energy-saving and high-quality lighting solutions for various spaces. Care for the environment even echoes in our name – ES stands for “energy saving”. We are proud that our history began with such a great mission.
Expansion on the Polish market
Over the years, we started to expand our own sales network. We opened offices in Rzeszów, Warsaw, Gliwice, and even Gdańsk. We currently have 11 branches throughout Poland – each with top-class specialists who assist our customers in implementing the best lighting solutions.
Establishing first production facility, ES-SYSTEM Wilkasy
The history of this production plant dates back to 1947, when a repair workshop for agricultural machines was opened in this location. After 10 years of operating, the workshop changed its production profile and has been manufacturing lighting products ever since. We became the owner of this facility with an area exceeding 30,000 m2 in 1999. This is where we create durable and efficient industrial and outdoor lighting fixtures as well as unique and sophisticated luminaires for special orders.
The first project with LED technology
Since the company’s beginnings, our operations have been bold and innovative. In order to fulfil our mission of providing energy-saving and safe luminaires, we started implementing solutions with LED technology. We are proud that we were one of the first companies to prove that LED lighting is perfect as basic lighting.
Opening the modern ES-SYSTEM NT production plant
The ES-SYSTEM NT production facility has a total area of 6,400 m2, is located in Dobczyce and is equipped with the most modern technologies. It has four production lines, two marking lasers and a vision inspection system. The functionality of modern production lines managed by one system significantly accelerates and improves the product manufacturing and control processes, which directly contributed to increasing production efficiency by 40%.
The laboratory received SMT accreditation
We have our own laboratory that is accredited by the Quality Research Office of the Association of Polish Electricians and the status of an SMT-supervised laboratory. It’s one of four private testing facilities of its class in Poland operating in the lighting industry. Countless inspections and tests are performed here on all of the manufactured luminaires. This means that customers can be sure that they are buying proven and reliable products.
The first HCL project
Over the years, we have not changed our vision – we’re still committed to being innovative and delivering the best lighting solutions. Our knowledge and experience have allowed us to be pioneers in creating luminaires with Human Centric Lighting technology. We deliver lighting that supports the human circadian rhythm and makes it possible to utilise the active daytime even better, or relax when it’s time to rest.

Attention to the smallest detail, indisputable quality and the ability to offer comprehensive lighting solutions are the hallmarks of our business. This approach has gained the recognition of juries all over the world and allowed us to win many prestigious lighting awards, including the German Design Award, as well as the Lux Award and Iconic Award. We receive such honours not only due to the exceptional quality of our products, but also for the impressive results achieved in our astonishing lighting projects.
We are celebrating our 30th anniversary and joining forces with Glamox
2020 is exceptional for us. We’ve won more awards. We are celebrating 30 years in business, remaining a leading company in the lighting industry in Poland. To top it all off, we’ve joined forces with Glamox – a Scandinavian industry leader that has been designing, manufacturing and delivering professional lighting solutions to the global market for over 70 years. This is a completely new chapter for us – one that holds challenges that we are already looking forward to.
